  • Grapes; Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio
  • Originating from: Pedara, Sicily
  • Alcohol 13,5 % Vol.
  • Color: Ruby red with pomegranate reflexes
  • Nose: Forrest berries, sour cherries and a hint of wood
  • Best with: Red meat, venison, seasoned cheese and pasta-dishes
  • Vinification: 12 months in barrique, 12 - 18 months in the bottle. Small production 

Monastra Etna Bianco DOC

  • Vintage years: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
  • Vines: Carricante
  • Originating from: Pedara Sicily
  • Alcohol: 13 % Vol.
  • Color: Strow-coloured with light-green reflexes
  • Nose: Green apples, aniseed and bitter almonds.
  • Best as: an aperitif but also along with seafood-pasta and fish
  • Vinification: 6 months in barrique, 6 - 12 months in the bottle. Very limited availability
